Notifications
Raya keeps everyone informed in real time and lets each person choose how much they hear about — and when.
Channels
| Channel | How it's delivered |
|---|---|
| In‑portal | The bell icon shows an unread badge and updates within seconds, no refresh needed. |
| Branded HTML email to the user's registered address. | |
| Via the WhatsApp Business API, where configured for the company — including invoices and reports sent as PDF documents. |
Per‑module preferences
Each user tunes their own alerts under avatar → My Notifications:
- Channels per category — for example Sales: Email + Portal; Inventory: Portal only. Categories span Sales, Procurement, Operations, Inventory, Marketing, Finance and System events.
- Mute — turn off specific event types you never want to see.
- Digest vs. real‑time — for high‑volume events, opt for a periodic summary instead of one message each.
Quiet hours
Set quiet hours to suppress external notifications (email and WhatsApp) during off‑hours — say 9 PM to 8 AM. In‑portal alerts still collect quietly on the bell, so nothing is lost.
Reading notifications
- The bell shows a count of unread items; click it to open the panel, newest first, with unread items in bold.
- Click a notification to jump straight to the related record — an order, lead or work order.
- Mark all as read clears the badge.
Admin routing
Admins set company‑wide defaults under Settings → Notifications: which roles receive which categories, the email from‑name and reply‑to, and the WhatsApp message templates (each must be pre‑approved by Meta before it can be used).
