Targets & Leaderboard
Set revenue goals for the sales team and track progress against them, with a live leaderboard that ranks who is ahead. Progress is drawn straight from completed orders — so the moment SO-1043 completes, the rep who owns it is credited toward their target with no extra data entry.

Set a revenue target
- Go to Sales → Targets and click + New Target.
- Fill each field — this example sets a quarterly target for the rep who owns SO-1043:
| # | Field | How to fill it |
|---|---|---|
| 1 | Sales Person | The team member (or team) the target belongs to — the same Sales Person named on the order header. |
| 2 | Customer | Optional. Scope the target to one account (e.g. Sunrise Polymers), or leave blank for an overall period target. |
| 3 | Period | The window — month, quarter or year (e.g. Q2 FY26, Jul–Sep). |
| 4 | Target Amount | The revenue goal in ₹ (e.g. ₹50,00,000 for the quarter). |
- Save. Progress now tracks automatically from every completed order the rep owns in that period.
:::note What counts toward a target Achievement is measured from completed-order revenue (the taxable value booked to Sales), so SO-1043 adds ₹4,82,000 to the owner's quarter — the ex-tax figure, not the ₹5,68,760 gross. A later credit note reduces the achievement: CN-0231 nets ₹39,500 back off, leaving ₹4,42,500 credited from this deal. :::
Read the leaderboard
The Leaderboard ranks sales people by achievement — revenue booked against target for the chosen period. A typical row set for Q2 FY26 reads:
| Rank | Sales Person | Target (₹) | Booked (₹) | Achieved |
|---|---|---|---|---|
| 1 | Priya (SO-1043's owner) | 50,00,000 | 42,15,000 | 84% |
| 2 | Arjun | 45,00,000 | 33,90,000 | 75% |
| 3 | Meera | 40,00,000 | 24,00,000 | 60% |
Use it to spot who is ahead, who needs support, and how the team is tracking overall. Switch the period selector to compare month vs quarter vs year, or filter to a single customer to see performance on a key account.
:::tip Scope a target to hold a key account Set the Customer field to Sunrise Polymers to give a rep a dedicated target on that relationship — useful when one account is strategic. Leave it blank for a plain period target across all customers. :::
:::caution Draft and pending orders don't count Only completed revenue moves the needle. A confirmed-but-unshipped SO-1043 sitting in Pending contributes nothing to the leaderboard until it reaches Completed — so a big pipeline won't flatter the numbers early. :::
